Joining the Dots resources launched

The Joining the Dots Moreland project will this afternoon launch a series of transition resources for students, parents and schools at Pascoe Vale Girls College’s auditorium.

Three short digital case study videos were prepared as part of the project to inform and educate students about what’s involved in a successful school transition, while the third video showcases the College’s commitment to its transition program. The videos feature tips and advice from school staff, students and a range of community agencies. You can view the videos below.

At the same time, a book entitled Goodbye Primary, Hello High School has been produced by social purpose arts organisation Kids’ Own Publishing and will be distributed to families transitioning to secondary school. The book was designed by Year 6 students from Westbreen Primary School and Year 7 students from Pascoe Vale Girls College and provides answers to all those questions kids can hesitate to ask. The book was produced with funding support from School Focused Youth Service at Merri Health. View the book online (below) or click here to download a PDF file.
