Moreland Youth Commitment
The Moreland Youth Commitment seeks to harness the collective leadership, intelligence and skills inherent in the youth, community and education sectors to achieve community level change. We are a learning community eager to tackle the complex issues we face through a shared whole-of-community approach.
Our vision is that all young people in the City of Moreland are supported to be the best they can be, are safe, healthy, engaged in learning, employment and their communities.

- Established School Community Action Team at Glenroy College to improve student engagement, primary to secondary transitions and parent and family engagement. The team has been running for 3 years and its work continues to expand.
- Ran series of networking activities including: School-to-Community bus tours, School-Business Roundtable.
- Supported the development of the From My School to Our School parental engagement strategy.
- Offered a range of professional development events around family engagement, school-community partnerships and school-business partnerships.

Join as an individual community member or represent an organisation. Our current members are staff from schools, community services, local and state government agencies and industry representatives who are interested in working collaboratively to support improved education, employment and wellbeing outcomes for young people in the City of Moreland.
